Accept and Provide Payments with the Nexus S 4G
Nexus S 4G users so far…are the only smartphone users who can accept credit cards and provide payments using Google Wallet. Double-duty from the latest and greatest Gingerbread Android smartphone. Here is a closer look at the benefits of the Nexus S 4G in the mobile payments world.
Accept all Major Credit and Debit Cards Mobile merchants using the Nexus S 4G can easily accept all major credit and debit cards from any location with a PaymentMax merchant account and AprivaPay. Say goodbye to lost sales because of a cash less customer, or the risk involved in accepting checks in a mobile environment. Smartphone credit card processing increases sales by increasing impulse buying, and appealing to those customers who do not carry cash.
AprivaPay also offers an optional mobile credit card reader/swiper peripheral for those merchants desiring low swiped rates, fewer inputting errors, and a reduced risk of a chargeback.
Google Wallet Payments Nexus S 4G users can make payments for goods and services using Google Wallet. Simply put, Google wallet is a virtual wallet. The downloaded app allows users to store virtual versions of their plastic payment cards. Payment is made by a tap of their phone against a NFC (near field communication) embedded terminal. Viola’ payment is made. Nexus S 4G is the only smartphone compatible with Google Wallet to date.

iPad Credit Card Processing-You Can Print Receipts!
I received a question today on my blog, “Can I print a receipt with my iPad”? The answer, absolutely!
What you need is the first generation iPad, PaymentMax merchant account, AprivaPay app, and the AprivaPay swiper and printer combination peripheral.
AprivaPay is working hard to get the iPad 2 compatible with the credit card reader and printer, but as of today the iPad 2 credit card processing is keyed-in transactions only.

Accept Credit Cards with BlackBerry Torch 9800
Merchants who prefer to conduct business on their BlackBerry versus an Apple will be pleased to know that if you have a BlackBerry with an operating system (O.S) of 5.0 or greater you can start accepting credit cards with a PaymentMax merchant account and AprivaPay.
The RIM BlackBerry Torch 9800 is a popular choice with PaymentMax clients, who accept credit cards in a mobile environment, for its battery life. This smartphone comes equipped with a 1300 mAHr removable/chargeable lithium ion battery giving up to 5.8 hours of talk time, and 18 hours of standby time. The last thing a mobile merchant wants is a dead battery. No phone no sale.
Another great feature our clients boast about is the touch screen keyboard and the slide out QWERTY keyboard. They are able to maneuver between the two keyboards as needed to make the transaction easy and fast for their customers. The AprivaPay credit card reader and printer make the process even faster with most fields being populated.

iPad 2 Swiper Available Through AprivaPay
Merchants looking to use their new iPad 2 combined with a swiper will have to do so with the mobile app and peripheral AprivaPay.
As of today, ROAMpay Swipe is not compatible with the iPad 2.
AprivaPay is a PaymentMax preferred provider of mobile credit card processing and has many benefits for on the go merchants, like a credit card reader.
Here are some other features of AprivaPay.
- Secure-encryption meets or exceeds all of the PA-DSS standards.
- Highly mobile.
- Technical support.
- No new hardware requirements.
- Low cost.
- Software based.
- Browser based.
AprivaPay Mobile Credit Card Processing is Browser Based
A great question we received in the office today is do I need to manage software updates on my phone if I choose AprivaPay over ROAMpay (or PAYware mobile)? The answer is “No”.
A great benefit of AprivaPay is that it is browser not software based. This means that instead of downloading a credit card processing app, the merchant accesses AprivaPay’s mobile terminal site with their cell phone.
A username and password is entered on the AprivaPay site. Then credit card information is entered and processed. AprivaPay manages the back-end. There are never any software updates to download.
This can be a huge benefit for those merchants who do not like to be distracted by updates. AprivaPay is compatible with a few phones including the iPhone 4 and Droid X.

AprivaPay has become a hot topic in the PaymentMax office lately. Mobile merchants are super excited about the swiper/printer peripheral for their phones.
At last! They can print receipts in a mobile situation. However, unlike ROAMpay which is compatible with hundreds of mobile phones, Aprivapay is limited to iPhone, Android, BlackBerry, and Windows mobile phones.

Cell Phone Credit Card Processing Printer with AprivaPay
Up until now, there has been no cell phone credit card processing printer for receipts. Receipts had to be emailed to customers. Some merchants like this function, others do not. They would rather hand their clients a paper receipt.
Well, now with the launch of AprivaPay credit card processing app, credit card swiper, and credit card printer that has all changed. Mobile merchants can now have all of the functions of a store credit card terminal with their smartphones.
